Schleiermacher and the establishment of the philosophy of religion as a conscious experience

Abstract

Concepts in research: A philosophy suitable for use in continuing to examine the phenomena of religion and reviving religious experience, in light of the period in which the philosopher of religion lived and the philosophical influences that formed his philosophical fabric. Schleiermacher is considered the most prominent philosopher of religion, and then religion is its essence in that period, against which the intellectual of religion is targeted. This is what helps the philosopher to publish his book (On Religion Against Its Burners), in which he is about religion and the essence of religion against the rationality of the Enlightenment. He is about the words in which he attacks intellectuals, and his first goal was to defend religion against the officials who belittled religion because of their abstract mentality. What we want to present in the research is what delves into Schleiermacher's conception of religion, and purifying it from what was attached to it from the Enlightenment era.
